A delicious long-day shallot with a strong onion flavor, Prisma's dark red colored skin and white/purplish flesh differentiate it from out other shallot types. It has a flattened round shaped bulb that reaches 1 to 2 inches in diameter, depending upon the planting density. Prisma has high dry matter content, making it an ideal storage variety.
