The Lorz family brought this garlic to the Columbia River Basin of Washington State from Italy before the 1900's. It has 2-5 layers with 12-18 cloves with semi thick wrappers that peel easily. The cloves are cream colored with elongated tips and are great for roasting with a bold flavor that lingers. This is another of the Artichoke family.
